Let's Celebrate

We had a fun weekend celebrating one year home with sweet Beau!

Friday afternoon we enjoyed some pool time with our friends Dara, Shea, and Sarah.  

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of everyone.  Beau loved his popcicle treat! 

Friday night we at at Five Guys.  Beau has recently discovered dipping his fries in ketchup and he loves it! 

Saturday morning, we started our day with muffins! 

Beau really loves to help in the kitchen! 

Later in the day, we went to the library.  I have to say that all of our local libraries have terrible children's sections.  I guess we were spoiled when we lived in Homewood, AL.  The children's section at that library is amazing! 

Our library was full of Korean children studying and being tutored.  It was a reminder of how important education is in the Korean culture. The children studying/being tutored seemed to be in the 7-12 year old age range and their tutors seemed to be college age.  

Then we went to Beau's favorite lunch spot! 

Once again, dipping his chicken and fries in the ketchup! 

We came home and had fun just playing outside. 

Beau's hair was so sweaty, so I gave him a little mohawk! 

Sunday night we enjoyed a fun dinner with our friends! 

Karen and Tanna graciously had us all over for yummy kalbi.

Isaac and Beau almost share their homecoming day!  Isaac came home July 29, 2010 and Beau came home July 28, 2011.  Isaac was supposed to arrive on the 28th, but he arrived after midnight, so it was technically the 29th.  We celebrated 2 years home for Isaac and one year home for Beau! Karen even had candles and we sang!

It was a wonderful weekend! Happy one year home Beau!
