I think Beau has mastered the art of bubble blowing! He usually claps for himself every time bubbles actually come out of the wand!

A Sunday Stroll
Yesterday we ventured out to enjoy the sunshine! Raleigh discovered a walking trail that is less than a mile from our house, but we had never been. It was the perfect spring day to try it out. We also broke in our new double stroller, although we took the car seat attachment off, since there is no need for it just yet.
After our stroll, we came home and Beau took a nap. Once he woke up, we spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening outside.
We stopped along the way and had a picnic lunch before walking back towards our car.
We even discovered a little playground at our lunch spot.
Beau loved running through the pavilion and listening to his voice echo.
Beau recently acquired this new skill. We will have to work on that one. Yuck!
Showing off his rock collection!
Peek-a-Boo
Vroom! Vroom!
We finished off our day with grilled hamburgers outside!
Sunshine and a day spent outside is straight from Jesus in my book! Although Raleigh probably would not completely agree...the pollen is in full swing here in Atlanta so even those with mild allergies are feeling it!

Attack of the Rabbits
I woke up this morning to find the rabbits had absolutely destroyed my flowers. Totally NOT a big deal in the big scheme of life, but still frustrating. These were pansies that had lasted all fall and winter, so it was almost time to plant spring/summer flowers. I guess now I will just be getting new flowers a few weeks earlier than anticipated.

Let's Do This!
In celebration of my upcoming 30th birthday this month, I would like to do something special! I've mentioned in the past that Jin-wu captured my heart from the moment I first saw his cutie patootie face on a waiting child photolisting. Jin-wu lives in Korea and recently turned 6 years old. He is waiting on a forever family. I know that God has a very special plan for Jin-wu's life!
One of the biggest obstacles for families in international adoption, can often be the funding. It would be my honor to host a very small fundraiser for Jin-wu's adoption fund through Reece's Rainbow.
So here's the deal! In honor of my upcoming 30th birthday and Jin-wu's recent 6th birthday, I'd love to have 30 people donate $6.00 or more to his adoption fund.
As of the time of this post, Jin-wu's adoption fund has $3984.25. Let's see how high we can get that account over the month of April! Will you join me? It would be an honor to celebrate my 30th this way!
Just click here to donate and then click on the yellow "donate" button. If you don't have a Reece's Rainbow account, you may be required to set one up, but I promise it is super simple and worth the extra step!
Let's Do This!
Oh, and one more a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. picture! Last Fall, my friend Karen was able to travel to Korea and meet Jin-wu. She even showed him a picture of our family to let him know we were praying for him. Isn't that precious?!
Prayers that Jin-wu's family will be blessed by his adoption fund, however small or large it might be!

Flashback: Hanging Out in Nashville
A few weeks ago Beau and I spent the week in Nashville. Here are a few iphone pictures from our trip!
Nana was practicing popping some wheelies with Pipi's wheelchair.
The nurses at my dad's hospital are a sucker for Beau's smile so he got lots of yummy popcicles. While it looks like he is sweaty, Beau had actually just dumped a cup of water on his head to be silly!
Playing on Pipi's new wheelchair ramp!
Sometimes you just need a special drink!
Who could resist that smile?! I can't!
Mmm...lunch time at Nana and Pipi's house!
Road trips are exhausting!
I think this one is so cute. He fell asleep on the way home from the hospital one day with his legs crossed! Too cute!
Unfortunately, my doctor advised me not to travel anymore until little Palmer arrives so we may or may not make it back to Nashville again this month. But I'm sure Palmer will enter the world ready for a road trip, so it won't be long until we are back for a visit!
