Monday Minute
I have several lengthier posts in the works, but I seem to only have a minute at at time to sit down and write.
I don't want to forget a few sweet things from today.
Beau likes to give names to his Little People as he is playing with them. The names change from day to day. Today he played farm with his Little People and named the farmers Ham, Shem, and Japheth. {For the last several months, Beau has been really interested in learning about Noah}.
One of Beau's bedtime stories tonight ended by asking him to list a few things he was thankful for. Here is his list:
toys
books
trains
food
As I was finishing tucking Beau in for the night, he told me to make sure I pack a napkin in his lunch box when he starts school, in case he needs to wipe his hands. Sweet boy. Of course. I promise I will always pack you a napkin.

Who's 2?
Palmer recently insisted on wearing a "hat" for dinner! He keeps me laughing! There are a few words that he uses incorrectly but it is too cute to correct!
If you ask him to say crocodile, he says taco bell.
{Yes, we eat there}
He says wrapping paper, when referring to toilet paper.
{Yes, we talk about toilet paper a lot these days. As in you don't need to use 1/2 a roll each time you potty.}
He uses the word popsicle to represent both a popsicle and popcorn.
In the morning when you open his door, he stands up in his crib and yells, "I wake up!"
{He has climbed out of his crib twice this summer, but it hasn't become a habit.}
His enthusiasm for life is contagious!
My Big Helper
Beau loves to help with projects! Recently he has been excited about helping with the garbage cans. Once I get it tilted, he can roll it back into the garage on garbage day! I love how he helps with a joyful heart!
Lake Lanier
We recently visited Lake Lanier for the first time. We really had no idea what to expect, but we packed lunches and headed out for an adventure. We arrived around 9 am and had the area to ourselves. Beau and Palmer had an awesome time exploring and building and running and playing.
The sand was pretty rocky, but the big boys didn't seem to mind. I kept Rhodes in the ergo carrier the majority of the time because he is in the stage where everything goes straight to his mouth so I didn't think crawling around was a good idea. By 11am, it was getting a bit hot and crowded so we headed out. I'd say it is not something we would do every weekend, but it sure was a fun way to spend a Saturday morning!
Beach 2015
We had an awesome beach trip this year. Although our trip was in late June, I don't want to miss the chance to share a few pictures. It was Rhodes' first time at the beach and he did great. He took lots of naps on the beach and enjoyed the sand and ocean. Beau and Palmer were total water babies and loved splashing in the ocean!
I was having so much fun playing and keeping an eye on my little people, I didn't get a chance to really take a lot of perfect pictures. But these snapshots remind me of the wonderful memories made with family! A special trip for sure!
