Happy 11 Months Palmer

Happy {belated} 11 months! 

Palmer {at 10 months}

I'm a few days late, but didn't want to miss the opportunity to remember all about Palmer at 10 months.

Palmer,
You are just the happiest little man and you and your brother have so much fun together.  You have a cheesy grin that you love to show us when you are extra happy.

You love to swing outside, play in the pretend kitchen, play with Beau at the train table, and you think you are very sneaky! You try to sneak up the stairs when we forget to close the gate.

Your hair seems to have a mind of its own!  Some days it just will not lay down flat.  It is mostly looks blonde, but definitely has some red in it as well.   

You love to snuggle up with your sleep sack and it is really the only thing you are attached to as a "lovie."  When he sees his sleep sack, he will crawl over to it and snuggle right into it.

 You are wearing mostly 12 month clothes and 18 month pajamas.  You are still in size 3 diapers, but they are getting tight.  

You also love to sneak into all the cabinets! 

We love you Palmer! I can't believe you will be one year old next month! We love your sweet spirit and we love you!

In no particular order, here are the songs that Beau requests daily, usually within the first hour of waking.

Your Grace Finds Me by Matt Redman {which he calls Great Grace}

Born in Bethlehem by Third Day {which he calls Baby Jesus}  

Beau's favorite thing to do during the songs is "dance all together."  He makes all of us get up in the same room and dance together.  Also it is worth pointing out that when he hears the first few notes of any of these songs he can tell you what song it is.  When they come on the radio unexpectedly he will put his hand behind his ear, like he is listening intently and then say "my song! my song!" 

He definitely loves music!

Pretending it is Spring

It was a brisk 43 degrees at the playground this afternoon.  On the bright side, we had the place to ourselves! 

 Luckily, it reached the mid 50's by late afternoon, so we headed back outside to play some more!

Memories at the Food Court

We've started a new little Thursday tradition.  After Beau finishes speech class, we head to the mall for lunch at the food court.  Beau LOVES eating at the mall, so this is really fun for him.  

Luckily Raleigh's office is within walking distance to this particular mall, so sometimes he is able to meet us there for lunch! What a fun treat! This week we enjoyed Chipotle, although 99% of the time, Beau chooses CFA!
