Happy Birthday Beau!

Today was a wonderful celebration of Beau! 

 I snapped a quick picture of Beau right when he woke up!

 Happy Birthday sweet son! 

You are 2! 

 It looks like someone needs a haircut! 

 Like all good days, Beau started his morning in the kitchen! 

 He's cooking up something delicious! 

 Then we went for a walk!  It has been SO hot here, but luckily there was a little breeze this morning! 

 Then we went to the pool!  

The two red bumps on Beau's back are mosquito bites.  His mosquito bites get really big and red and last for a while.  

 Our neighborhood pool has a splash pad area, and Beau loves running through the water! 

 Beau's favorite lunch is Chik-fil-a, so that is where we went for his birthday lunch! 

 He ate all of his meal...2 chicken strips and fries! Yay! 

 Being silly! 

 We took Beau to dinner at Chuck-e-Cheese.   

Raleigh and I were a bit disappointed.  We remember the "show" with lots of animatronics.  Now there is only one animatronic character on the stage and the rest of the "show" is just a video.  And remember games like Whac-a-Mole...there were not any games like that anymore.  I guess it has been close to 20 years since I've been to Chuck-e-Cheese, so I should have known things would be different.  

 Beau enjoyed watching a Veggie Tales video while we waited on our pizza.   Yes, part of the "show" was a Veggie Tales video!  

 Beau enjoyed playing skee ball with me!  He understood the concept of rolling the ball up the ramp and had fun trying to get it up the ramp as high as possible! 

 Then he did a little race car driving with his dad! 

 Vroom! Vroom!

 When we got home, Beau started opening his gifts from me and Raleigh.  

 He decided that unwrapping the gifts was taking too long, so he decided to just push them around in his buggy! 

 Beau finally got around to unwrapping his gifts!  First he opened Fridge Farm by Leap Frog.  

His other gift was Text and Learn by Leap Frog.

Happy Birthday Beau! We love you so much and are so blessed to have you in our lives!  We can't wait to see what adventures await you this year!  Welcome to the world of being two!
