A Few More Memories

Here are a few more memories from our week in Nashville!

Teddy likes to ride with Beau!

Beau loves playing the piano! Click to hear his masterpiece!

One afternoon there were beautiful hot air balloons outside!

 Hanging with cousin Erica

Beau and Pipi were ready to eat their ice cream!

Uh oh! I discovered that Beau knows how to open the bottle of Downy fabric softener.  I was getting ready one morning and Beau was "playing."  He was quiet for a moment and then I saw that he was apparently giving puppy a bath.  Oh well! Now Beau's puppy smells extra fresh!

 Mmmm...I love bubbly water!

One afternoon we were walking in Downtown Franklin and Beau started clapping and squealing when we passed the yogurt shop.  Nana was happy to let Beau have a little pre-dinner snack!

  Look at those toppings!

 Looks like a delicious mess!

One day while my dad was at the doctor we found a nice courtyard at the hospital.  Beau loves exploring!

 Listening to music!

 Power Nap

Beau had lots of fun sweeping with Nana!

Pure Joy! I love that smile!

Please Nana...just get the water hose out one more time?!

 Squishy Face

Beau likes making music with the wind chimes!

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Today was my dad's last day of radiation so he got to ring the bell at the nurses station!

Here are a few more pictures from today!

Did you know?

Did you know that Nashville has a full-scale replica of the Parthenon? Well, it does!

Today was my dad's 3rd day of radiation.  When we arrived for the appointment, Beau got a sucker from the nurses station.

Once they took my dad back for radiation, we knew we had about an hour so we walked across the street to Centennial Park.

There were lots of tourists taking pictures!

Look at all of those details! The original Parthenon in Athens is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture.

Beau enjoyed his sucker as we took a stroll around!

I think we'll take a bag of dum-dums to the nurses on Friday because Beau has eaten 2 or 3 a day this week!

During our walk, we came across these geese.  I think they are geese.

Other families were feeding the geese, but I had always heard that geese are mean so we didn't get too close.

Beau thought they were great.  He thought they were ducks and kept saying "duh" for duck.

There is a lot of green space at the park so Beau enjoyed just running around for a bit.

We even posed like tourists and had our picture made.
