Conversations 3-5-16

The boys were happy to talk about a variety of things earlier this afternoon, so I tried to take advantage of it and get a glimpse into their minds.  

I asked the big boys the same questions and here is what they had to say! 

Palmer is 2 (soon to be 3)

Beau is 5 (will be 6 this summer)

What is one of the best things you've learned at school?  

Palmer: playing with Hudson

Beau: the Pledge of Allegiance 

What is your favorite food?  

Palmer: lunchable 

Beau: ramen
{apparently I shouldn't spend so much time trying to meal plan creative lunches and dinners}

What is your favorite thing to do at school? 

Palmer: singing

Beau: afternoon carpool

Who do you like to play with at school?

Palmer: Hudson

Beau: Jake B

Where do you like to go on trips?

Palmer: the Marta train

Beau: Toys R Us
{apparently we need to widen our view of 'trips'}

What is your favorite cartoon?

Palmer: Cat in the Hat  

Beau: Planes
{Palmer loves the Cat in the Hat book, but has only watched the cartoon once.  I'd say his most requested cartoon is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse}

What do you like to do outside?

Palmer: It's too cold to go outside.

Beau: Play on my swing set.

What is your favorite song?

Palmer: Baby Jesus {aka Born in Bethlehem by Third Day}

Beau: my playlist {ha ha ha... he is referring to his spotify playlist}

What is your favorite color?

Palmer: {no answer}

Beau: brown

What is your favorite thing to play at home?

Palmer: the kitchen mixer {this is a little battery operated mixer that they use in our play kitchen}

Beau: play-doh

What is your favorite thing to do in your room?

Palmer: rest

Beau: play little legos

What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?

Palmer: drive the jeep

Beau: wash your car 

What is your favorite thing to do with your brothers?

Palmer: go to the pool

Beau: pray for them 

Rhodes is 16 months old and couldn't quite answer these questions, but he here are some of the words he can say:
