More Jesus, Mama

 I've been meaning to post about a sweet little phase Palmer has been in recently.  If you know Palmer, you know he has serious joie de vivre! His exuberance is one of his best {and most exhausting} qualities.  

Even though he lives at full throttle during the day, Palmer will sit and cuddle at night in the glider in his room as long as you are willing to sit and read him books and sing him songs.  His favorite books right now are Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and From Head to Toe by Eric Carle.

His favorite song is "10,000 Reasons" by Matt Redman.  I guess in many ways, that song has become our family anthem.  His other favorites are "Jesus Loves Me," "The B-I-B-L-E," and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Sweetest Name I Know."

When I finish my final song, Palmer whispers, "more Jesus, mama" in the most precious little two year old voice.  What he means is "sing another song" but isn't it just what we all need to be the first and last thoughts on our minds each day...more Jesus!
