Christmas Cheer {12 Days of Christmas}

Thanks Mimi and Grandpa for making our 12 days of Christmas so special! 

When Raleigh and I are not with his parents during Christmas, they mail the 12 days of Christmas gifts.    Someone recently asked me how this tradition was started.  I actually have no idea when it started, so I will have to find out!

Each year, Mimi creates "clues" to help discover the gifts.  Last year, our clues had to do with pictures, since Beau could easily recognize a picture of himself. This year, the clues were letters since Beau is really into the alphabet.  Mimi created magnet letters with the letters BEAU and PALMER.  There were also two stars.  On the back each letter or star, there was a date.  We started opening on December 21st, so the "B" had December 21 written on the back.  That night, we looked for all the presents labeled with the B.  To distinguish the gifts between people, we each had different wrapping paper.
