Fun Weekend

Raleigh and Beau treated me to a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.  Our neighborhood pool opened Saturday and we took Beau to check it out.  We were the o.n.l.y people there so it was great for Beau to explore and get comfortable there because I'm sure that will never happen again.  It was only 69 degrees, so we didn't actually swim, but we did play in the kids' splash area.  It has about an inch of water and Beau loved it.
 

Later in the afternoon, Beau had a jam session with Raleigh.  Beau is really into music right now.  He loves playing guitar and listening to music.  We only have 2 more weeks of music class  but I plan to sign Beau up for another 10 week session in the fall.  He has really enjoyed it.

Saturday evening our neighborhood had a kick-off to summer event with a band and food trucks.  It was a fun family outing!  Beau is getting much better about being around dogs in public places.  He used to completely freak out about dogs.  He still doesn't like them to invade his personal space, but he is fine watching them from a distance.  Since we don't have any pets, it is taking him a little longer to be comfortable around animals, but we are making progress.
